Kids Veggie Bolognese Sauce

We don’t do things by halves, so our mouth-watering veggie bolognese is packed to the brim with veggies, nutritious lentils and fresh parsley. Serve with spaghetti.

Ingredients: Tomato (19%) (chopped peeled tomatoes, tomato juice), Green lentils (16%), Water, Tomato puree (11%) (tomatoes), Carrots (9%), Red peppers (9%), Mushrooms (8%), Onions (7%), Courgette (7%), Extra virgin olive oil (2%), Garlic Puree, Salt, Black pepper, Parsley, Thyme, Marjoram, Basil. Please note - the recipe has been updated recently, so please refer to the actual sleeve.


Nutritional Information: Typical values per 100g. Energy Kj 257, Energy Kcal 62, Fat 2.3g (of which saturates) 0.4g, Carbohydrates 6.5g (of which sugars) 3.9g, Fibre 2.2g, Protein 2.5g, Salt 0.27g


Cooking Instructions: Cook from Frozen.
MICROWAVE (4 mins) - Remove sleeve and pierce film. microwave on full power 850w for 3 mins, remove film and stir, then heat for a further minute or until piping hot. Allow to stand for 2 mins and stir well before serving.
OVEN COOK (25-30 mins) - Preheat oven to Fan 180°C / electric 200°C / gas 6. Remove outer sleeve and pierce film. place on a baking tray in the centre of the oven. Cook for 25-30 mins or until piping hot. Allow to stand for 2 minutes. Stir well before serving. Guidelines only. All appliances may vary.
