Ideas and inspiration to serve Wildly Tasty Dishes!

The beauty of a Wildly Tasty dish is that it can be served in so many ways. We think this is important for a few reasons.

We don't always fancy the same pasta or rice with our meals week in week out and it's good for our diets to have variety. We also find, with the little ones in our life and in particular the fussy eaters, it can really help for them to have an element of control in their dinner. To be asked what they fancy having, and even helping with this! As a Wildly Tasty meal has done the hard work for you and taken the prep out of the meal centre, we have tried to keep things really simple with our suggesting and show how mealtimes can be kept interesting by alternating how they're served. 

We have collated some inspiration for each dish and are constantly working to add and improve to this and as always, love hearing from you, our tasty tribe, how you eat yours! 

 

Sweet Potato and Bean Chill

 

Our chilli is a firm family favourite. Packed full of flavour and designed to fill up hungry tummies. Sweet Potatoes are valuable for boosting antioxidants in the body, a key substance to prevent cell damage. The dish is also packed with Vitamin C for our immune system and skin health, B vitamins for energy and brain power!

Mushroom and Lentil Bolognese

 


Our best seller, the trusted Bolognese! Our hero ingredients here are the powerhouse pulse, lentils !  Packed full of nutrition from B vitamins & iron for bouncing energy, Magnesium for muscles and good sleep and of course a great source of plant based protein, so needed in growing children!

Lentils are an excellent source of gentle fibre to keep our guts in good shape and full of zinc, which supports a healthy immune function, aiding the production of new cells to replace damaged ones.

Our Coconut and Sweet Potato Dahl is amazingly tasty and fragrant but still loved by children just as much as the grown ups ! 😋

Packed with Lentils and spinach which are bursting with Iron for energy and brain power 💪🏼

Here are a number of ideas to enjoy it:

Apricot and Chickpea Tagine

 

Packed full of flavour and goodness, this will soon become a staple at mealtimes!

Full of chickpeas which are a powerhouse for nutrition for vegetarians and vegans, containing folic acid, manganese, plant protein, iron, Magnesium, Copper & Zinc! 

The apricots give a gorgeous fruity flavour to the dish and they contain Vitamin C, A and Carotenes like lycopene. These are all beneficial to our eye, skin and immune health!
